Kevin Ker

Home Loan Consultant

I have been in Real Estate since 2011 and in the Mortgage business since 2013. Born and raised in Valencia, CA, I started working under my dad, Walt Ker, when I graduated from UCLA in 2010. There, I learned all about the loan industry as I worked to get both my real estate license and my mortgage license. Working under my dad, who had more than 20+ years’ experience and a wealth of knowledge about the business, has prepared me to offer my clients the best service as well as a better understanding on what it takes to obtain a loan.

Home Loan Consultant:
I am a banker and a broker, which gives me the ability to shop for the best rate possible. I have over 20+ different lenders that I work with giving me the ability to do all types of loans ranging from Conventional, Jumbo FHA, USDA, VA and Non-QM products. We offer a lot of first-time home buying programs as well for clients who don’t have the funds to put a big down payment on a house but can afford a monthly mortgage payment. Whether you are purchasing a new home or simply refinancing your home to get a lower rate or pull some cash out, I will do the research to shop for the best rate possible and put them with a lender that best suits my clients’ needs.
I pride myself on communicating thoroughly to my client and have found it to be the most important thing to my success. Keeping up to date with new programs in this frequently changing business allows me to offer the best types of loans to my borrowers as well as helping them make educated choices about their home loan.

Hobbies:
As for hobbies, I have been involved with volleyball for nearly half my life both as a player and a coach. I was a 4-year starting setter at UCLA and have coached at my families’ volleyball club, Legacy Volleyball Club, since its inception in 2008. In addition, I love spending time with my wife, Katie, and two kids Emmett and Audrey. I also love basketball, golf, board games, and going to the beach!
